The Safety Blend Recipe

As the name suggests, The Safety Blend Recipe is perfect for those juicing newbies. Got curious? Keep reading.

When we take on a juice cleanse project, we tend to get excited. We want to incorporate every little ingredient we can to maximize the nutritional value and the detox effect it promises to our body.

However, when we do this, it’s very easy to overwhelm ourselves with all these flavors and effects up to the point that our body and mind can’t handle it anymore.

Thus, it’s best to start with a blend that won’t challenge you too much but still offers the right nutritional value. Plus, it’ll help you lose weight, lower down your cholesterol levels, and improve your eye health in the process.

Notes

  • You will need a juicer for this recipe. But, if you don’t have a juicer, you may use the blender instead. Depending on the strength of the blender, you may have to chop the ingredients into smaller pieces. Or, you may simply omit the carrots in this recipe. Or, you can just add water so that the blender won’t have a hard time blending the ingredients. Either way, pulse them in the blender until they’re homogenous. You may not get the smooth texture right away, as you would on a juicer though. But, what you can do is to strain the mixture before drinking to make it smoother and more pleasant. Here is a video showing you how to strain the blend. You will need a strainer like this one and a mesh bag like this one.
